Our patient, Nazar S. (age 29) sought treatment for his scoliosis from several physicians, orthopedic spine specialists, physiatrists, and several other chiropractors. The family spent thousands of dollars to no avail, and Nazar was still in constant discomfort, interfereing with his sleep. After 5 months of therapy at our offices, and despite that he was one of the most difficult patients to adjust, (as he found it nearly impossible to relax for treatment), with only properly prescribed orthotics and Chiropractic manipulation; judge for yourself the unequivocal results.

Dr. Boris Prakhina, President and CEO of the ultra modern North Jersey Surgery Center at 520 Sylvan Ave., in Englewood Cliffs, NJ announces the credentialling [ -See letter] of Dr. Press for performing Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) at their facility. Dr. Press, a 4th generation American, has been performing MUA in bergen County for severe back pain, arm pain, neck pain or frozen shoulder syndrome, since 1988 when he was working under a plenary license to practice medicine in the Soviet Union in a joint venture with their then Chief Neurologist of Moscow, Dr. Anatoly Fedin. Dr. Press says "I am especially proud to become a part of this eminent team of highly skilled physicians and surgeons".
Stephen J. Press,DC, PhD, a 4th generation American, was invited in early 1991, by Nicholai Rusak, then Minister of Sport of what was still the Soviet Union, to serve as Chief Physician for their Winter Olympic Team in Albertville, France in 1992.
Naturally, no one knew then that the USSR would break up before the Games. This whole scenario was of course, unprecedented, and required the permission of then President Geo. H. W. Bush, for Dr. Press to represent them and not lose his US Citizenship as an agent of a foreign government. Thus when the team actually marched into Albertville, the Soviet Union had disintegrated, and was 15 separate nations, by that time called simply the "Unified team" (сборная команда). This means that Dr. Press was also the only doctor in Olympic history to have been Chief physician for 15 nations at one Olympic Games!
